This song is for Rainbow & Rooted: One Last Shot, the successor to last years Balloon Party: After Party. To keep it fresh, things were done different than last year. The results have been 20% cooler. These are all new tracks or VIPs of rejected entries. No rejected entries. The idea was, and I quote the creator Circuitfry: "You got 2 weeks to rebel against the mixing fetishization of music. Focus is on attitude and feel." Glitch Hop music by nature is pretty flowing, it can be sharp and full of attitude but it will always have a certain smooth sophistication and not the garage style grit which is what I wanted. So, I decided to try something new. I mixed punk/metal/electronic/glitch together. Bad/Good. My opinion is that this is a bit of both. This is my rebellion against the ridiculous angelic mixing standards of the modern music industry and I had a hell of a good time making it.
