The premise of the song has to do with an idea of never giving up. When I was writing the song, I thought of the Cutie Mark Crusaders during the whole thing. They can be saddened by not having their cutie marks at times, but they still try and search for their talents, really striving for it. I feel like this can be tied in with the fandom as well. Don't be saddened by who you are, and what other people say. Instead, strive to prove your worth, show everyone what you're really capable of and who you are. That happiness won't just come to you, it's something you must reach out for.
