Twilight Sparkle went on a trip to Apotos to see the glorious windmills. Minutes later, she saw Sonic and running around Windmill Isle. Everything was peaceful until that night... Twilight had turned into Werelight Shine. She found a couple of monsters that are sent by Dark Gaia and fought them all one by one. Sonic The Werehog came by and congratulated her of fighting off the creatures that have scattered over Apotos. So Werelight and Sonic team up to start their adventure before dawn.
