Aight, peepz! This was my entry to the 'Simplicity is Key' album (which can be found here: camsy.bandcamp.com/alb... - you should really listen to the rest of the tracks on it too - it's really good)!
As the album name suggests, this is a really simple song - four chords, and nothin' else. While I made the song for the album, I had had the basic idea for it in my head for a while - the album made me realize I could finally use this idea for something! Anyway, don't be shy; comment and favorite if ya like it!

Lyrics:
I wake up each day, and I look in the mirror,
and every time I think of the same;
A pony I'm not, I am not such a creature,
instead of the fur, I have scale upon scale.
Is this my home, or am I all alone?
Is this where I belong?
I wake up each day, and I look in the mirror,
and look at the others, thinking "I'm not the same".
They're hustling and bustling, yet I'm still a dreamer,
I can't put these thoughts away; they are to blame
Is this my home, are these who I am meant to
be sharing my life with forever and out?
Do I belong, or do I need a rescue -
I need to be strong, and discard all my doubt!
I wake up each day, and I look in the mirror,
saying "looking, good, Spike! Looking real good!"
It's silly, I know, but it helps me over
the fact that I never will get understood
Is this my home, are these who I am meant to
be sharing my life with forever and out?
Do I belong, or do I need a rescue -
I need to be strong, and discard all my doubt!
But I try my hardest
to get away from my contemplative side
And I reach as far as
I can to be able to cross this divide
This is my home, these are who I am meant to
be sharing my life with forever and out!
I know I belong, and I don't need a rescue!
'Cause I can be strong, and get rid of my doubt
